What Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us. Currently, the only personal data we collect is:

Email address — when you submit the form to receive our free guide ("Work Less, Bill More — The First Step")

We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details, or any other personal information through this form. If you purchase the course, payment is handled by a third-party processor (LemonSqueezy) and we do not store your payment details.

Why We Collect It & Legal Basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

When you tick the consent checkbox and submit your email address, you are giving us your explicit, freely given consent to:

Deliver the free guide you requested
Send you occasional emails about Work Less, Bill More — including updates, new guides, and information about the course

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at chris@chrisbuilds64.com and we will remove your email from our records promptly.

Legitimate Interests — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR

We may also process certain data (such as website analytics, if applicable) on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it. We always balance this interest against your rights and freedoms.

How Your Data Is Stored

Email addresses submitted through our website are currently collected via Google Forms and stored in Google Sheets, both provided by Google LLC. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf.

Please note: We currently use a personal Google account for data collection. This is a temporary arrangement during our pre-launch phase. We are in the process of migrating to a GDPR-compliant email service provider with a formal Data Processing Agreement. We will update this policy when that migration is complete.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your email address to any third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We will keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications. If you withdraw your consent or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected.

Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies. Specifically:

Google Fonts — we load fonts from Google's servers, which may set performance and session cookies. These are functional and help the site display correctly
Cookie consent — we store a small cookie to remember your cookie preference so we don't ask you again on every visit

We do not currently use any advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent accordingly.
